A delegation from Thalassemia Patients Friends Society-Palestine met with His Excellency the Palestinian ambassador in the country of Tunisia, Mr. Hael Al-Fahoum, at the embassy headquarters in the capital of Tunisia. The delegation included Ms. Jihad Abu Ghoush, the Secretary of the Society, and Mr. Ahmed Ayash, the Executive Director. The ambassador welcomed the society’s delegation. Sister Ms. Abu Ghoush presented an interview of the Society’s work in Palestine and its role in the global and regional levels, including the recent Arab Thalassemia Societies Forum. The society looks forward to forming partnerships at various levels for the benefit of Thalassemia patients.

In turn, His Excellency the Ambassador pointed out the challenges facing the Palestinian citizen and the importance of what the society is doing at the national and regional levels, expressing the embassy’s readiness to facilitate and follow up on any future partnerships that may be held.
