The continued aggression on the Gaza strip, warns of  humanitarian and health catastrophe.

Thalassemia Patients friends’ Society (TPFS), and in accordance with our responsibility towards thalassemia patients in Palestine, and especially in the Gaza, wishes to express our graves fears of the dangers of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza strip. The Israeli aggression is targeting unarmed civilians, and is having deleterious effects on the lives and health status of Gazans and thalassemia patients and their families.

Gaza has been suffering for more than a decade and a half from a suffocating blockade, which affected the standards of health services offered to Gazans, and is under constant pressure from the emergency war situation that has been ongoing for years.
We are holding the Israeli occupation responsible for the health and wellbeing of Palestinians and thalassemia patients. The serious escalation in the last 24 hours has resulted in the destruction of roads and transportation networks that connect Gazans hospitals; it also resulted in the targeting of doctors and health services providers, which puts the lives and health of our patients in grave danger.

We ask all humanitarian and human rights organizations to take their rolls to demand an immediate halt to this aggression, and to provide the necessities of dignified life and health services to our people and patients in Gaza.
